PIONEER SQUARE HISTORIC HOLIDAYS is a four day festival with activities that include an ice carving competition, holiday lighting in Pioneer Square Park, interactive crafts from the past, music and much more! Along with our popular Pioneer Square Bucks program and the Pioneer Square Holiday Market it all adds up to a fabulous holiday season in Pioneer Square!

Free parking Park free in the Safeco Field Parking Garage on Edgar Martinez Drive S. during event hours.  That’s right–FREE Downtown parking!  Just pick up a voucher from an event volunteer at the garage to ride King County Metro Transit free into Pioneer Square and back.

Activities include:
• Professional ice sculpting, interactive demonstrations and a giant 10 x 6 foot professionally carved “signature” piece. Bring your camera and vote for your favorite!

• Learn about the Square’s pioneering days through interactive crafts such as wreath and candle making.

• Stroll through the neighborhood at night and witness the festive lights in Pioneer Square Park.

• Enjoy live performances from local high school bands and roving holiday carolers.

• Dress up in Victorian costume and have your photos taken at the Historic Photo Booth.

Pioneer Square Holiday Bucks
While enjoying the Holiday festivities in Pioneer Square, visit the area’s many shops and restaurants where you can enter to win a $1,000 holiday shopping spree at Pioneer Square’s many merchants, cafes, galleries, and restaurants. Entry boxes will be in businesses beginning November 28, with the grand prize winner announced on December 21. Pioneer Square Holiday Market
Join the fun in Occidental Park (Occidental Avenue between Washington & Main) for Pioneer Square's 2007 Holiday Market every Friday and Saturday, November 24 through December 23, 10:00am-5:00pm. Patrons can mingle with local artists as they shop for one-of-a-kind art, jewelry, photography, glassware, sculpture, and many other hand-crafted gifts.
