The Pioneer Square Community Association is a non-profit 501(c)(3).The mission of the PSCA is to make Pioneer Square an even better place to live, work, tour, and shop. The PSCA acts as a liaison between the community and the city to ensure that community projects get planned, funded, and executed. The PSCA receives funding through multiple sources including: community grants, membership, fundraising, and the business improvement area, which is a self-imposed tax based on business revenue by businesses in the area. The PSCA is specifically tasked to manage and execute the following:
• Maintenance, beautification, and enhancement of the public areas
• Support and enhancement of the public safety
• Promote and market business and tourism
• Develop and assist parking for shoppers and visitors
• Encourage and support all business development and economic vitalization efforts
