Art, Poetry, and Music: Early Music Seattle + ArtX Contemporary

In conjunction with his current solo exhibition, Alan Lau performs selected poems from his book of poetry “Blues & Greens: A Produce Workers Journal” accompanied by multi-instrumentalist Bob Antolin.

Then the scene shifts to Trio Sonho – a homegrown trio of experts in Brazilian music who will perform a mix of bossa nova and samba. Emy Tseng is a Seattle-based rising star in the world of modern and Brazilian jazz. She is accompanied by Stuart Zobel, guitar; and Carole Peterson, percussion.

This event is “pay what you wish”, raising funds for Early Music Seattle.
