explore pioneer square
Welcome to the Original Seattle Neighborhood – rich in history, arts, culture, and food!
On 5/22/2026, Chief Seattle Club, will be producing a special event in Pioneer Square called the 2026 Memorial Walk. Pioneer Square has been chosen as the location for this event because this is where our organization serves the chronically homeless Native community. The walk is held in honor of our relatives who have passed. We host this event every year in this neighborhood and it’s important to us that we notify our Pioneer Square community of our approaching annual event.
Chief Seattle Club is a 501(c)(3) registered organization dedicated to physically and spiritually supporting American Indian and Alaska Native people. At our Day Center in the Pioneer Square district of downtown Seattle, we provide food, primary health care, housing assistance, legal services, a Native art job training program, and opportunities for members to engage in cultural community-building.
