Closing Reception – Ruth Kapcia: Resilience In Bloom

Join us for the closing reception for Kapcia’s solo exhibition: Resilience In Bloom.

Dahlia paintings rendered in melted wax create a fresh series balancing the sorrow and joy of the current moment by drawing on traditional flower symbolism. Kapcia melts oil pastels into multi-layered pointillism images based on her own photography from a Skagit Valley nursery in the PNW.
