Grief Rituals: reflections on migration and mourning

Join ARTS at King Street Station for Grief Rituals, a ritual performance by Little Brown Language.

Grief Rituals is a multi-sited public performance and neighborhood procession exploring migration as a form of loss that shapes processes of cultural encounter and syncretism, ancestral memory and translation. Mixing dance, song, poetry and visual art, the Little Brown Language performance group will activate key locations moving from Seattle’s Chinatown International District, to King Street Station and Waterfront Park. In doing the transformative work of collective grief, we reimagine connection with others, through which entangled forms of solidarity may emerge.
