Welcome to the Original Seattle Neighborhood – rich in history, arts, culture, and food!
In tandem with Rachel Maxi’s first solo exhibition with Foster/White, the gallery will host an artist talk on Saturday, June 7 at 2 pm. Maxi creates intricate wall-based assemblages that translate as paintings. Incorporating various materials including found objects, oil paints, beeswax, and gold leaf, her work references aspects of nature, landscapes, and built environments. Maxi will discuss her inspirations and processes for creating her work. The event is free to attend and open to the public.
