TENDER: Closing Activation

Saturday, September 19, we’re closing out Tender at METHOD Gallery on the opening day of Seattle Art & Culture Week with a special live activation from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.

During this hour, movement artist C. Asa Call and violist Noel Kennon will activate the gallery space in response to Kristin Tollefson’s tactile installation, presenting three 15-minute improvisational sets. Kristin will be in the gallery alongside them as the work comes alive.

If you haven’t experienced Tender yet, this is the moment. Noel’s deep viola soundscapes will move through the gallery, weaving directly with Asa’s somatic movement and Kristin’s artwork. It’s a quiet, intimate dialogue between bow-string, physical gesture, light, and material—a study in weight, breath, and how we inhabit space together.

Come by Pioneer Square, meet the artists, and catch these live sets between 1:00 and 2:00 PM.
