Community & Belonging: How Seattle youth are transforming their neighborhoods

Sawhorse Revolution & University of Washington’s College of the Built Environments present a walk-through of youth design in the field of protecting local pollinators. Addressing environmental concerns of the safety of local pollinators, participants in the Sawhorse youth program designed and built bee pollinator hotels to be installed at the Burke Museum in The Meadow. At LMN’s Shop, we will display the workings of the design process through the eyes of Seattle youth and what they prioritize in creating a better environment. A presentation of student interviews and interactive tables will also be a part of the night.
