Counterculture Opening Reception

Enjoy the art and talk with July’s featured artist, Miguel Eduardo of Seeking Soma Arts for the opening reception of “Counterculture”, a body of work work exploring portraits of people in today’s counterculture. The work will be up from July 3rd to the 20th of August.

July’s event features a performance by diem, a Seattle based DJ, who is known for dancing behind the decks and joining the crowd mid-set. diem resides in the PNW, having called Seattle home since 2001. He has performed in clubs and at festivals across the US, Canada, Hawaii, and Mexico. He defines his sound as “hardtribaldisco”, which is a blend of tribal Latin rhythms, hard funk, house beats, and breaks, to become the layered evil disco that gets everyone’s booty moving.
