Rather than a chronological survey, this focused exhibition creates an open dialogue across his practice—highlighting his distinctive color palette, energetic linework, and fluid visual language.
About the Artist:
Based in Bellingham, WA, and Tucson, AZ, David Syre creates large-scale acrylic paintings, drawings, watercolors, and art installations inspired by the subconscious, nature, and Indigenous spiritual traditions. Driven by global travel and a ritualistic, highly intuitive process, Syre is known for his signature linework on black paper and energetic acrylic compositions. He has exhibited internationally across North and South America, Europe, and Asia—including major presentations at the Outsider Art Fair (NYC) and the Seattle Art Fair—and published his monograph, The Black Book of Drawings, in 2022.
