Exhibit of Spike Mafford’s VASA

Join us as we celebrate the debut of Spike Mafford’s “VASA,” a new work in the artist’s Longhand Series. In his work, archaeology, historical documents and narrative merge in a metaphorical palimpsest. Exhibit opens Aug. 6 and runs through September. The opening’s musical accompaniment will feature the hypnotic and original sound of Callan Spafford and his band Cardinal Sign. This will be their last Seattle appearance before Spafford moves to Tinsel Town.
