Fresh Perspectives

Thanks to dedicated funds from the City Light Percent-for-Art fund, the Summer 2024 Fresh Perspectives youth curatorial program, led by teaching artist Hasaan Kirkland, selected artwork that will be added to the City’s Civic Portable Works collection. The project, funded through City Light Percent-for- Art-Funds, had youth work closely with City Light as the client to learn about the utility and inform artwork purchase and curatorial decisions, selecting the work of 50 artists to access into the City’s collection and displayed in City Light facilities. Come see the work that was selected and is now part of our City’s very own art collection.
