Welcome to the Original Seattle Neighborhood – rich in history, arts, culture, and food!
SPACE at FINERIE presents Jennifer Leigh Harrison: Patterns of Belonging, an exhibit about place and impermanence. At the center of the artist’s practice is an inquiry into the human condition through the vibrant, layered interior life of the psyche and its entanglement with history, land, and power. Working intuitively, Harrison creates large-scale, and physically embodied gestural abstractions that are both raw and restrained. Her surfaces are often built up and broken down, forming compositions that feel both structured and unsettled—reflecting the ways we organize and reorganize our sense of place over time.
