Kyle Johns | Saturation Point

‘Saturation Point,’ Kyle Johns’ newest solo exhibition in gallery, opens First Thursday, June 5, 6 – 8 pm. Using the traditionally rigid process of mold making that is at the core of industrial production, Johns deconstructs and reassembles plaster mold positives to create a multitude of unique forms. The work is created organically, responding to the outcomes and limitations of the process and material. Johns explores the various degrees of functionality, from the practical to the sculptural. The exhibition runs until Saturday, June 21.
