Welcome to the Original Seattle Neighborhood – rich in history, arts, culture, and food!
Join J. Rinehart Gallery for First Thursday and the Public Opening of Julie Alpert’s exhibition, Leaf Poses. First Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 5-8pm.
Leaf Poses, from multimedia artist Julie Alpert, presents a series of new colored pencil drawings and wall-mounted painted cut- wood shapes inspired by the flora of the Pacific Northwest. Fascinated by the surreal patterns and expressive gestures of the plants she encounters, Alpert simulates the experience of wonder and discovery that we have with the natural world in an interior setting.
On view September 27 – October 29, 2025
