“First Thursday” Art Walk
This is Greg Kucera Gallery’s eleventh one-person exhibition of work by Seattle artist, Peter Millett. Welded in steel, the recent sculptures are powder coated in varying subdued tones of grey and silver. The muted tones reference shadow, reflections, and moonlight, creating an exhibition that is calm and reflective. The triangular components that serve as the sculptural building blocks twist and turn, repeatedly folding in upon each other in quiet meditation.
In conjunction with his first museum retrospective, Peter Millett: Built Forms opening October 12th at the Museum of Northwest Art in La Conner.
