Welcome to the Original Seattle Neighborhood – rich in history, arts, culture, and food!
Music takes center stage throughout Populus Seattle this month with a series of immersive listening experiences inspired by connection, discovery, and Seattle’s creative spirit. From the intimate acoustic performances of Salt Harvest Sessions—featuring Bay Area folk-pop duo Lonely Parrots in a candlelit lounge setting with curated cocktails and bites—to Maiden Voyage’s monthly high-fidelity vinyl listening experience in the Nature Library, guests are invited to slow down and engage deeply with sound. Coinciding with Pioneer Square’s First Thursday Art Walk, Maiden Voyage’s international music showcase offers immersive album sessions, a curated vinyl library, and a chance to win tickets to Jazz Is Dead featuring Brazilian legend Marcos Valle. The month continues at Firn atop Populus Seattle, where Firn Frequency welcomes Chilean-born selector and Global Groove Seattle founder Rizoma for an evening of vinyl, live electronics, and global dance music from 6–10 PM. Together, these activations transform Populus into a vibrant hub for live performance, vinyl culture, and musical exploration.
