Rachel Maxi | Temporal Reflections

Rachel Maxi’s first solo exhibition at Foster/White Gallery, ‘Temporal Reflections,’ opens First Thursday, June 5, 6 – 8 pm with the artist in attendance. Maxi creates intricate wall-based assemblages that translate as paintings. Incorporating various materials including found objects, oil paints, beeswax, and gold leaf, her work references aspects of nature, landscapes, and built environments. The exhibition runs until Saturday, June 21. In tandem with the exhibition, Foster/White will host an artist talk on Saturday, June 7 at 2 pm. The event is free to attend and open to the public.
