Shar Coulson | Quiet Abundance

‘Quiet Abundance,’ Shar Coulson’s solo exhibition in gallery, opens First Thursday, August 7, 6 – 8 pm with the artist in attendance. Coulson bridges the gap between the abstract and the familiar through her use of allusive figuration, gestural line work, and organic forms. Inspired by nature, Coulson’s heightened ability to see recognizable objects in otherwise unrelated patterns guides her process. The exhibition runs until Saturday, August 23. In tandem with the exhibition, Foster/White will host an artist talk on Saturday, August 9 at 12 pm. The event is free and open to the public.
