Sheri Paisley | Lightscape

‘Lightscape,’ Sheri Paisley’s newest solo exhibition in gallery, opens First Thursday, March 6, 6 – 8 pm with the artist in attendance. Paisley explores the connection between internal and external landscapes, with a focus on breath, spirit, and wind. Through abstract and loosely rendered scenes, she examines the dynamic tension between form and formlessness, as well as the invisible forces that shape our experiences. In tandem with the opening of Paisley’s ‘Lightscape’ and to celebrate Foster/White’s 59th anniversary, a celebratory lion dance will be performed in front of the gallery at 6:30 pm. The event is free to attend but we encourage bringing cash tips to feed the lions. Paisley’s exhibition runs until Saturday, March 22.
