storeFRONT – June First Thursday! We’re excited to feature the work of Quinn Hallenbeck (@QDHphoto). Quinn Hallenbeck creates photography, performance, and thought in Seattle, WA. Her creative and consulting work over the past decade has been supported by the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, 4Culture, Velocity Dance Center, and On the Boards. Her photography depicts abstracted forms of place and person, evincing an interest in encounter and embodiment developed through her training as a dancer and life as a queer woman. In a world increasingly mediated by the digital, Quinn’s work is a call to action to celebrate the experience of physicality in all its effort, confusion, and bliss.
