Elias Hansen is a sculptor and glass artist, with current studio locations in San Francisco, Quilcene, and Tacoma.
Elias Hansen makes sculpture and installation-based works that incorporate hand blown glass, wood and metal support structures, tinted light bulbs and electrical components among other objects. Eli talks about how subterranean chemistry labs and distilleries have informed his work, working collaboratively with other artists, failure and error, straddling the craft and contemporary art worlds, the importance of apprenticeships, and championing curiosity in his life and studio practice.

Oscar Tuazon is an artist based in Los Angeles and Oil City, Washington. He is currently Director of Water School, a long-term Land Back initiative in collaboration with the Goshute Tribe in the Great Basin region of Nevada.
Oscar Tuazon works with natural and industrial materials to create objects, structures, and installations that can be used, occupied, or otherwise engaged by viewers. With a strong interest and influence from architecture and minimalism, Tuazon turns both disciplines on its head. The artist produces objects and environments that draw out humanity’s relationship to buildings, interior and exterior spaces, and other objects and structures. He focuses on raising awareness and presenting alternatives – rethinking the tools and equipment that we use to build, as well as the construction techniques we employ, and the ambitions we have for building; inhabiting and being part of a landscape while preserving it.
