Watercolors by Lisa Jordan at Bacovino Winery

Born in the rural foothills of Tennessee’s Smoky Mountains and shaped by the creative energy of Louisville, Kentucky, Lisa Jordan brings a deeply observant eye to the intersection of nature and city life. After discovering watercolor in late 2021, she stepped away from an 18 year career in technology to pursue art full time, finding both calm and curiosity in the medium’s fluidity. Her work moves easily from quiet, intimate moments to expansive urban scenes, exploring contrasts like anxiety and serenity, detail and playfulness. This exhibit pairs beautifully with a glass of local wine or beer in hand, inviting guests to slow down, look closely, and savor the shared experience of art, place, and community.
